Our policies are applicable to all our students. In continuing with your enrolment, you confirm your agreement to the following terms and conditions. 

Languages are an organic thing, a tool to express yourself, so our courses are all based on chatting and communicating with each other.

We will try to make the topics as relevant as possible and always selected to get you speaking as fast as possible.

Homework is set most weeks and it is an opportunity to continue your Spanish at home and to evaluate your progress.

Classes will have no more than 14 students.  This fosters a relaxed, chatty environment, whilst still allowing for the focused attention of the teacher where required.

Course materials range from handouts provided by the teacher, to carefully chosen textbooks depending on the group. (All material created by VamosGlasgow cannot be reproduced without the written consent of the author) 

We will be sharing notes and handouts via a GoogleClassroom set by VamosGlasgow. This will also be our main means of communications for rescheduling classes and giving notice.

It lies under your responsibility to check the platform regularly.

Current classes will take place in different venues around the City of Glasgow or in a location agreed with the student(s).

We also offer private, online lessons via zoom.

Payment for VamosGlasgow courses are payable by card using the link  provided:

• Pay for the block – this is our most cost-effective option. Payment should take place no later than 7 days prior to the first class of the block.

• Pay by DirectDebit – Please note that this option is offered to make paying for our courses easier for the student. The cost of a term of is divided into 2 payments.

The payment is due regardless of how many classes you attend. Receipts for payments will be issued on request by email.

Please note that there is no option to Pay-As-You-Go. This allows VamosGlasgow to keep the class numbers steady and to keep the overall course prices as low as possible.

All private courses require a minimum booking and payment of 5 classes. Please note that when booking a private course you will agree to a set timetable and dates with your tutor. We are only able to accommodate 1 class change per month during your course, and you must notify the tutor at least 48 hours in advance. All classes in your block must be taken within a maximum period of 4 months. 

Deposits for taster sessions are non refundable if you do not attend the class.

You will risk losing your space in the programme if payment is not received at least 7 days before the start date of the course.

Students whose fees are received after week 2 will be charged a late-payment fee of £10.

It is possible to reschedule a private class provided that you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

To cancel a course, a notification needs to be sent by email to hola@vamosglasgow.com at least 2 weeks prior to the date the course is due to begin. Each cancellation request will be reviewed by the VamosGlasgow Admin Team.

We take no responsibility for courses which are cancelled or not running due to any reason beyond our control. 

All courses are non refundable. Upon making your payment, you agree to pay for your course in full. This means that even if you miss a class, the block still needs to be paid for. Our fees cover our running costs (including administrative work and our providers charges) and access to all of the materials needed to keep on track with your learning.

No refund will be issued if a course cancellation is made once a student has started the course and/ or committed to private tuition by scheduling their lessons with a tutor.

When appropriate, we may offer a 50% credit to use for another course or private tuition at VamosGlasgow within a period of 6 months from the first payment date.

If you are unable to complete the course due to illness or family bereavement, documentary evidence may be requested to claim a refund, and will only be given at the discretion of VamosGlasgow. 

VamosGlasgow cannot process any refund until all the booked services have been paid in full. 

An information email will be sent to all students in advance of each block, detailing the class dates, times, and price.

No liability shall arise against VamosGlasgow for any loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to an individual whilst participating in any of our courses.

Children and adults taking part in our sessions are assumed to be in good physical condition and capable of engaging in our activities without detriment to their health.

All enrolments accept and agree to behave in an appropriate manner and be respectful to each other’s opinions and culture.
